The Hobbits both 1) refuse to wear shoes and 2) run a livestock-based farming economy. Wouldn’t they constantly be stepping in feces? Why doesn’t the movie address this issue?”

Uh, they have eyes? They can see where said “feces” are? Plus, it’s set in an ancient time- everywhere was filthy back then. In fact, the hobbits are cleaner than they should be for the time period in which Tolkein seems to set the book.

“12. Return of the Living Dead.

In FOTR, if you watch closely during the Inn scene, Frodo and his crew are shown getting stabbed by the Ring Wraiths. Then, five seconds later, they are fine again. Note to the director: try proofreading your movie before you release it to the public.”

If you noticed, the moment after they were fine, the wraiths were shown as pulling down the covers to reveal PILLOWS they had been stabbing, in the room OPPOSITE where the hobbits were. They didn’t come back to life- they weren’t even in the room. It was all planned.

Hi, is it really important to know who Tom Bombadil is? I mean, when I read the Lord of the Rings, I did not find it odd to find him there and after all, when Frodo asked ''who is tom Bombadil'', Goldberry did answer ''he is'' and after that she said -'' he is the master''. So if he is there, it is because he should be there. He is also called ''the ancient'' if I remember well but it does not disturb the story at all, even if we do not know where he comes from. P.s. I have enjoyed reading the article above. thanks.

BUT HAVE YOU READ THE BOOKS?

SORRY JJR TOLKIEN BOOK?

Half the reason you suck are due the trilogy, the Tolkien trilogy.

I hope you wrote just for fun and you didn’t really ask tourself those question.

Even if I don’t like very much Old Peter as Screenplayer I can’t deny the tree film are fun.
